Guide to Reed Diffusers
Reed diffusers are a simple yet effective way to fill your space with a continuous, natural fragrance. Unlike candles or electric diffusers, reed diffusers do not require heat, flame, or electricity, making them a safe and low-maintenance option for home or office.
Our reed diffuser sets come with a 10ml bottle of essential oil, a ceramic pot, and a pack of 6 reed sticks to absorb the essential oil and release the scent into the air.
How do reed diffusers work?
A reed diffuser consists of a container or pot filled with pure essential oil and reed sticks that absorb and disperse the scent throughout the room. As the reeds soak up the oil, they release the fragrance gradually, creating a pleasant and consistent aroma.

How to Use Reed Diffuser
When to replace the reed sticks
Replace the reed sticks every 2-3 months or when you notice the fragrance isn't diffusing as effectively, even after flipping them. Reed sticks can become clogged with dust, impurities and oil over time, reducing their ability to absorb and release the scent.
If the scent becomes faint or the sticks look saturated, it's time to swap them for fresh ones to maintain an optimal fragrance experience.
Additional Tips To Maximize Effectiveness
- As the fragrance from the reed diffuser begins to fade, you can add more essential oil to the pot.
- For a stronger scent, use all 6 sticks; for a lighter scent, use fewer.
- For a stronger scent, flip the reeds every few days. For a more subtle fragrance, flip them less often.
- Place the diffuser in areas with good air circulation but away from direct sunlight or drafts to prevent the oil from evaporating too quickly.
- When the oil level gets very low, clean the ceramic pot and replenish it with the same or different essential oil and new reed sticks.
