Guide to Juniper Berry Essential Oil

Juniper is an evergreen shrub that belongs to the cypress family. The leaves, branches and berries of this tree have been used for medicinal and spiritual purposes for thousands of years. The berries are plucked during the season, dried and ground prior to distillation. The oil has a distinctive aromatic note which is woody, and fresh.

Ways to use

Aromatherapy

Its calming and grounding aroma sets the perfect vibe for Meditation

Step 1:

Add a few drops of essential oil to a ceramic diffuser filled with water ( 2-3 drops of essential oil for every 50ml of water)

Step 2:
Place a lighted tea light candle in the bottom slot of the diffuser
Step 3:
Enjoy the calming aroma as the oil-water mixture gets heated

Topical application

Anti-inflamatory and antioxidant properties of Juniper berry oil are very beneficial for skin. It is an effective oil for a cleansing and relaxing massage.

Step 1:
Add a few drops of Juniper berry essential oil to coconut carrier oil. ( 4 to 5 drops of essential oil for every tablespoon of carrier oil)
Step 2:
Massage mixture onto skin

Room Spray
